Two
The ship ride was a boring, worthless trip. "Worse, than a busfull of teenagers on a 24 hour, nonstop ride to Florida." some parents would say. The children around Ran paid no mind to him, and Ran paid no mind to them. All was well in the balance, except for one thing, he was the main topic the other boys chatted about. Even with this ignoring balance going around, the other kids, feeling superior in their height and age, made fun of Ran. "He's so small, he could probably fit in a suitcase!" or the occasional "What is he, two?" came up once in a while. Ran only smiled. Time would come when he would show them all what this "two year old" could do...

'If life started out on a space ship, we would all be so advanced we would kill each other for the knowledge the other holds...'-Erikson The darkness filled his orbs when he awoke. It was 0530 and the rest of the so called acadamy was asleep. The sweet smell of home no longer drifted into his nostrils; instead a thick sweat linging odor clinged to his lungs. Life was so much better at home. He had first arrived when the newest moon arrived that month. According to his gaurdians, this day was planned to come a long time before he was born. When his birth finally arrived, IF officials had begun their preparations for his arrival. He was named Nathaniel, but was changed to Ran. No reason why the changed occured, and Ran's parents got used to the idea after a while. But they still insisted on calling him Nathaniel. Six years later, the IF came back to run other mind measuring tests, physical tests, and also problem solving questions. All were answered or completed in an extraordinary small amount of time. The completeness of each task was also supreme. Ran's ticket to battle scholl was set.
